Cave Without a Name – Distance from Camp-Resort: 49.8 miles

Cave Without a Name is a natural, living cavern located in the Texas Hill Country. Take a 60 minute tour and see spectacular formations of stalactites, stalagmites, rimstone dams, delicate soda straws, and more! Plus, it’s only 66 degrees year-round – a great way to beat the Texas heat.

National Museum of the Pacific War – Distance from Camp-Resort: 30.5 miles

Learn all about the story of World War II in the Pacific with more than 55,000 square feet of exhibit space to explore. The National Museum of the Pacific War is the only museum in the continental United States solely dedicated to telling the story of WWII in the Pacific. Here you’ll be able to view state-of-the-art archives & collections, interactive media presentations, memorials, and so much more.

Art

Museum of Western Art – Distance from Camp-Resort: 6.3 miles

The Museum of Western Art is a great opportunity for individuals to learn about Western heritage through Western art. Since its opening in 1983, thousands of visitors have viewed the museum’s galleries and seen the West brought to life through the various pieces of artwork. Exhibits feature cowboys, Native Americans, women of the West, settlers, mountain men, and more.

Horticulture

Wildseed Farms – Distance from Camp-Resort: 36.7 miles

Located in Fredericksburg, you can find rows and rows of colorful wildflowers at Wildseed Farms. Stop by any time from March through October and you’ll be able to see fields of beautiful wildflowers blooming. You can also buy wildflower seeds during your visit, along with a variety of other options at the live plant nursery.
