What’s Included and What You’ll Need to Bring

At Jellystone Park™ Guadalupe River, our cabins are stocked with almost everything you could need. However, there are still a few things that you’ll need to bring to make the most of your trip. Each cabin type offers different amenities, so this cabin camping packing list is different for each cabin type.

Group Cabins:

Group cabins are an excellent way to experience Guadalupe River glamping! Sleeping up to 15 people, our group cabins offer benefits such as air conditioning, heating, laundry, and a private hot tub. The kitchen comes with a refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, stovetop/oven, coffee maker & mugs, toaster, microwave, basic utensils, pot & pan, baking tools (mixing bowl set, non-stick cookie sheet, measuring cups), strainer, and place settings. Those planning to stay in our group cabins should plan to put towels, blankets, pillows, linens, grilling utensils, and personal items on their cabin camping checklist.

Luxury Cabins:

At Jellystone Park™ Guadalupe River, our luxury cabins offer an excellent transition into cabin camping in Texas. Experience the comforts of home at our Texas campground! With amenities such as a full bathroom and a kitchen, our luxury cabins give you access to the great outdoors without roughing it too much. In the kitchen, you can find a refrigerator, sink, coffee maker & mugs, toaster, microwave, basic utensils, pot & pan, wine opener, and place settings. Plus, most luxury cabin rentals have ovens and stovetops! If you’re planning on cooking, make sure to pack foods that don’t require an oven depending on your cabin type, and please bring towels, blankets, pillows, linens, grilling utensils, and personal items. Putting these items on your cabin camping packing list will help you to make the most of your cabin camping in Texas!

Suggested Items for Your Cabin Camping Checklist

Regardless of what cabin type you stay in, there are certain items that can make your Texas camping resorts experience even more memorable! Here are some things to consider packing for your trip: 

Sunscreen and Bug Spray:

When spending lots of time in the great outdoors, packing sunscreen and bug spray are always a great idea! With these items, you can enjoy time outside without worrying about sunburns and bug bites.

When visiting our campground in Texas with a water park, you’ll want to take advantage of all the water attractions that are included in your stay! Don’t forget to pack swimsuits for the whole family so everyone can enjoy the water zone!

Rainy Day Gear:

Be prepared for unexpected weather changes by packing rain gear such as waterproof jackets, ponchos, and umbrellas. A deck of cards or a good book can also come in handy during indoor downtime.

Comfy Clothing:

Pack clothes that are comfortable and suitable for outdoor activities. Think cozy sweatshirts, durable pants, and sturdy hiking boots. Don't forget extra layers for chilly evenings around the campfire!

Entertainment:

Keep the fun going with entertainment options such as board games, playing cards, and books. Unplugging and enjoying quality time together is what cabin camping is all about!

Toiletries:

Don't leave home without your toiletry essentials like toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and towels. Keeping clean and fresh will enhance your camping experience.

How to Save Luggage Space

Looking to save some luggage space? Here at Jellystone Park™ Guadalupe River, we offer a range of amenities that can save you some space in your travels! First, we offer linen rentals for your convenience. This add-on will include: sheets, blankets, bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths. Additionally, if you aren’t wanting to pack food items, our Texas campground has an on-site store carrying all the essentials! Check out our Ranger Station for groceries, gifts, camping necessities, and more! Plus, if you forget any items, our Ranger Station likely stocks them, so head on down to the store and enjoy your vacation!
