How far away is your Texas campground from San Antonio?
Lucky for you, we offer some of the best camping near San Antonio, because our Camp-Resort is located only a little over an hour away. We also offer some of the best RV camping and cabin rentals near San Antonio, with 15+ accommodation types!
Can you smoke on property?
Smoking is permitted on cabin porches and at campsites, but it must be confined to your designated site. Smoking of any substance besides tobacco and vaporizers will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to fine violators of this policy.

Can I smoke at your Texas campground?
As a courtesy to all our guests, smoking of any substance (including vaping) is not allowed in any outdoor common areas (pools, pavilion, etc.) or indoor facilities (cabins, screened-in porches, restrooms, recreation buildings, etc.). All of our cabins are non-smoking.
Can I use multiple promo codes?

We do! Our Kerrville campground offers plenty of different activites on the river. Spend the day Guadalupe river tubing, or bring a fishing rod and cast the day away. Enjoy Guadalupe river camping at its finest at our riverside Camp-Resort!

If your reservation is for a cabin, ANY and ALL changes must be made at least 3 weeks before your original arrival date. For RV site reservations, ANY and ALL changes to your reservation must be made at least 2 weeks before your original arrival date.

What are your seasonal dates and how does that impact what attractions are available during my stay?
Our Camp-Resort dates and availability of attractions vary throughout the season. During non-peak season, some attractions are only available during the weekends. To check what’s available during your stay, visit our Guest Dashboard.
Do you offer cabins for large groups?
Yes, we have great options for large groups looking to stay at our Texas campground. For example, our Ranger's Retreat sleeps up to 15 people! It is also equipped with a full kitchen, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and more! For more information about our cabin rentals, click here.

Can I arrive early and/or depart late?
We are not allowing early access/arrivals (before check-in time) until further notice. Extended access (after check-out time) does not guarantee guest will be able to stay on site/in cabin until departing from the Camp-Resort. Early access/extended access only guarantees access to the Camp-Resort and Camp-Resort amenities, which requires parking in overflow. Access is based on availability and involves a fee based on the time of check-in – please call for info. We absolutely cannot accommodate access prior to 11AM, so please plan your travel accordingly.

What can't I bring to your Kerrville campground?
Firewood, dirt bikes, hoverboards, kids electric scooters, pets not included in reservations, drones, four wheelers, RZRs, Polaris vehicles, ATV’s, and fireworks. Please contact our reservations team at 830-460-3262 with any additional inquiries.
What can I use my Jellystone Park™ gift card towards?
Jellystone Park™ gift cards are applicable towards reservations only. They may not be used towards day camp passes or any on-site amenities, Ranger Station items, etc. Gift cards can be purchased on this website.
What do I do with my linens if I'm checking out?
If you rented linens for your stay at our Texas campground you can leave them in the cabin and our Housekeeping staff will collect them and clean them.
What are the check-in/out times for add-ons?
Most add-on check-in/out times follow cabins and campsites check-in/out times. Golf cart rental check in is at 11am and check out is at 9am.

Do you offer price matching for campground reservations?
No, we do not offer price matching for campground reservations. Our pricing is carefully determined to provide fair value for the amenities and services included in the price of a stay. We encourage you to explore the features of our campground, and if you have any questions about our current pricing or special offers, feel free to contact our reservation team for assistance!
What forms of payment are accepted for my reservation?
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
How do I make changes/add on items to my current reservation?
If you are needing to make changes or add something to your reservation, such as a golf cart, please give us a call during office hours and we can help over the phone. Please be ready with your confirmation number.
If I leave before my departure date, will I get a refund?
No. Leaving early is considered as a cancellation and the cost of the remaining day(s) will be forfeited.
Can we cut down trees for firewood?
Trees – both living and dead – may not be cut down or damaged in any way. There will be a $200 per tree fine if damage occurs.
Who can make changes to my reservation?
Only the person whose name the reservation is under may request changes to the reservation unless consent has been given and is documented in the reservation.
What is the speed limit?
The speed limit throughout the Camp-Resort is 5 MPH. We realize that this is ridiculous. If you do not feel that you are driving ridiculously slow, then you are driving too fast.
I’d like to be close to the water and am looking for the best riverfront campground in Texas. Do you offer any riverfront cabins?
You're in luck! Our Texas campground sits right on the Guadalupe River and offers some of the best riverside camping in Texas. We have a variety of riverfront cabins to choose from. Book our Boo Boo™ Bungalow Riverfront, Riverfront Hill Country Cottage, or Yogi Bear™ Riverfront Cabin for river access right from your porch. Can I bring pool toys to play within the pools?
Sorry, we do not allow guests to bring personal pool toys.
Are campfires allowed at your Texas campground?
You bet, unless there is a burn ban. Please confine them to provided fire rings and do not leave them unattended. Firewood may not be brought into the Camp-Resort from an external location as it can spread bugs and pests to our beautiful trees. Firewood is available for purchase at the Ranger Station.
What is your policy on firearms and weapons?
Guests must obey all federal, state, and local laws regarding the ownership and possession of firearms. Firearms are not permitted in any property buildings or common areas. The only exception is that guests may have a firearm in a locked, private vehicle in parking areas if permitted by law. The discharge of firearms, BB guns, air guns/rifles, or similar devices is strictly prohibited.
Do you have quiet hours?
We do! Quiet hours are from 11PM – 8AM daily. All campers must observe quiet hours by regulating their activities so that others will not be disturbed.
This is my first time visiting Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Guadalupe River. Is there anything I should know?
We are so excited to have you stay with us! There are a few optional items you can bring along to maximize the fun during your trip. You are welcome to bring bicycles to help you get around our Kerrville campground. We also suggest bringing fishing poles for some quality family fishing. And keep in mind that while we do offer plenty of activities here at our Texas campground, there are many local attractions that your family may enjoy as well. Are golf carts, motorized scooters, and ATVs allowed in the Camp-Resort?
Personal golf carts are allowed with proof of insurance, a signed contract, and an annual fee of $45 + tax (no prorating). For your convenience, we do have golf carts available to rent. Motorized wheelchairs are allowed, but ATVs and motorized scooters are not allowed.
Can I change my reservation dates a week before I am supposed to arrive?

Do you offer Winter Texan/snowbird camping at your Texas camping resort?
Yes, we do! We offer a variety of long term accommodations, making our Camp-Resort one of the best extended stay campgrounds in Texas. If you’re looking for a monthly RV park in Texas that has numerous RV site types to choose from, we’ve got you covered. We also have numerous cabin types for those who don’t own an RV, but would still like to enjoy snowbird camping in Texas. You can learn more about our monthly campground here.
I have a voucher/points I want to put towards my reservation, how or when do I do that?
You will need to log into your Club Yogi™ Rewards account and request a certificate. You will need to present the certificate at check-in to be verified by the staff and credited to your reservation.

Are pets allowed at your Texas campground?
Day Pass guests or visitors of guests staying at our Camp-Resort are not permitted to bring their pet. They will not be allowed into the park if they arrive with their pet. Guests staying at our Camp-Resort are welcome to bring their furry friends with them. Our policies vary by site type. Do you have Wi-Fi?
Yes, we have free Wi-Fi throughout our Kerrville, TX campground – speeds will vary. We do ask that you refrain from steaming videos, as it tends to slow down the speed for everyone.
What is in the Ranger Station?
You can stock up on groceries, firewood, ice, and Yogi Bear™ souvenirs for the whole family in our air conditioned Ranger Station.
Are fireworks allowed?
Fireworks, including sparklers, are not allowed at our Guadalupe River campground.

What is your pet policy?
Pets are allowed free of charge at RV sites and with an applicable fee for select pet-friendly cabins – for 1 pet, there is a flat fee of $50. For 2 pets, there is a flat fee of $75. 2 pet max per cabin/RV site. Pets are NOT allowed at our playgrounds, restrooms, or other buildings. Pet owners are required to bring a crate(s) for their pet(s) and are responsible for pet clean-up and noise control. Please keep your pet on a leash and never unattended. For the safety of our guests, pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations. We reserve the right to remove hostile and disruptive pets from the Camp-Resort. View our pet waiver.
Will my reservation guarantee a specific campsite or cabin assignment?
Specific campsites or cabins may be requested, but are not guaranteed. We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your favorite campsite or cabin by paying our applicable locking fee. If you opt out of the locking fee, you are guaranteed your selected site or cabin type, but NOT the specific unit number.
What is your cancellation policy?
We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The fun continues rain or shine. Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date, please view all the details on our Rules and Policies page.
How do I add an add-on to my reservation?
Great question! You can add a golf cart, cabana, any of our other add-ons to your reservation by calling us or by adding one to your reservation while booking online!

Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
They are, but the beverage must be held in an unmarked container or koozie. This is a family-friendly Texas camping resort, so please be considerate of others and refrain from loud and unseemly language.

We are more than happy to show off our Texas campground but please schedule a visit in advance by giving us a call or sending us an email!

How many times am I able to change my reservation?
The first change is complimentary. Any changes made after that will cost $15.00 per occurrence.
Do you offer day passes?
We sure do! Day Camp Passes are available during peak season. You can learn all about them, including the cost, on our Park Passes page.
How far in advance should I make my reservation?
We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance of the desired arrival date, as our Camp-Resort will fill up quickly! We book reservations up to 360 days in advance!
